Have you ever sensed someone's unexpected death? They weren't sick, or anything, but still you got a sense that they weren't long for the earth.

Re: Sensing death
Gosh, no. That would be so terrible if it did ever happen.

Re: Sensing death
I've had sort of an odd feeling for about 6 months now, when it comes to my Grandmother, and after talking with one of my cousins, he's had the same odd feeling, too. Not so much that death is imminent, but maybe lurking a little closer than in the past, and that we need to check on Gram more often than usual. My cousin stops by her place almost every day, as he works near where she lives, and I go over once a week and call in between. I think we both just have it in the back of our minds that Gram is almost 88, and anything could happen, anytime, even if it's just her falling down and hurting herself somehow, or losing touch with reality, because some days she's more in a fog than most.
I think that's why I put in a lot of effort and painted her apartment and cleaned it up, got her some new stuff to make it cheery over there--seems like it was going to be my last chance to do that for her.

Re: Sensing death
The last time I saw Elvis Presley on TV I told my husband "he's not going to live much longer" , and he died shortly after.

I don't think so. Wouldn't wanna have that kind of a sixth sense.

Re: Sensing death
Only time I have is when they were already sick and on their last lifeline.
