Anchor babies

How do you feel about anchor babies? Should children born in the US to parents who aren't citizens be granted automatic citizenship, in your opinion?

IDK. Depends on how much of a real problem it becomes with ppl purposefully using the old law set up for American born British subjects. When we hear of anecdotal occurences we have to remember that is diluted by millions of ppl who don't do it.

I do think infants brot here by their parents who grow into their teen years here should be given automatic immunity. It is cruel to deport someone to a 'foreign' country.

The children, yes. The parents, no. I'm not in favor of fucking around with the 14th Amendment but I don't believe it extends the right of citizenship to the parents of U.S. born children who are here illegally.

Agree, so send the parents back to what ever country they came from, if they want to leave the baby thats ok, or take it with them either way is acceptable. When we lived in Arizona I couldn't believe the number of people who came from Mexico, had the baby applied for a PO box on the American side of the border, and welfare and got it and went home to the Mexican side of the border!
