How long are the tabloids going to ride Whitney's death?

Every week new rags are printed up for the supermarket checkout lane and every week it's something different but front page stories all go back to Whitney's death, the big murder conspiracy, the 911 calls, $1000 of cocaine that disappeared from the room that night, was she pregnant at the time of her death? Did her daughter try to commit suicide? Was she arrested on drug charges? Bobby saying 'he coulda saved her', exactly how long are the tabloids going to be vomiting up these idiotic headlines that only an idiot would pay money to read?

As long as people are paying, they're printing. That's all it's about for them. There's still enough controversy to keep it going a while. Where there's controversy, there's a payoff.

Even the OJ/Nicole/Ron story is back in the news again.

The bigger question is why are you acting so surprised over headlines in the tabloids.

Well they sure are here. They cannot let it go and a big one I think was a while back they had pictures of her in her coffin, and everybody asked since it was family only WHO got those pictures and would sell out their own family like that? And if that wasn't bad enough, they had to go on about she was buried with $40,000 worth of jewelry and her best dress and blah blah blah...why do people care? Curiosity I can understand but supporting these rags only hurts the people that actually did care about her.

Who buys that crap? It's a shame really any of those publications sell.

I still hear occasional chatter about it, but the firestorm has seemed to dim considerably. I think the media scrutiny over Whitney's death wound up being overtaken by the Trayvon Martin story.
