For the most part, where do you get your books from? I used to love Borders, but I think the uprising of the Internet (and Amazon.com) hurt their retail prowess because now you see fewer Borders stores and they aren't as filled with merchandise as they used to be.

I usually buy my books on Amazon, see if anyone is selling it used and in good condition.

I used to get a lot off Ebay until they switched to Paypal only for everything, I get a lot off Amazon though resent paying $4 for every single book. And offline, there's a thrift shop in my town that sells books 10 for a dollar, so I get a lot of them from there too.

Also library sales, yard sales, second hand stores, etc. The library's book sale is coming up in September, I can't believe it's almost time again! Last year they got $100 out of me, and I still haven't read most of the ones I got then.

I prefer to NOT buy my books online. I used to buy a lot from Border's Books but now I go to Powell's Book Store first; if they don't have what I want then I shop Amazon.
When I was in New Orleans in April I purchased several books from various individual stores. I don't mind supporting local bookstores at all.

Used to buy them from Borders, but they closed on me....so now I don't know. I'm not that big on ordering things online.
