There are companions which tell about the episodes and the actors and all the little pieces of trivia, then there are real case books so you can see what was ripped from the headlines, both for regular and SVU, no CI though, and today I got a BIG book in the mail called Law & Order: Crime Scenes, explains how the show was made, how the characters were made, how the transition from idea to TV show works, and one whole chapter full of their crime scene photos...and they're in black and white so the details are enhanced, so much so that my brother said our mother wouldn't like it because it had real murder pictures in it .
Has anybody else read any of these? I personally haven't yet but I got my mother a few for her birthday because she loves the LAO series'.
