| We called around to find some wildlife people to come pick up an injured bird. Hopefully they were able to nurse it back to health. | |

| Only birds that have flown into the windows and knocked themselves out. We pick them up and put them in a safe place until they come around. We once encountered an Otter dragging a leg hold trap, there was nothing we could do for the poor creature as we didn't have any heavy gloves or a blanket to protect us from those nasty teeth. It saddened us, but sometimes you can't actually help an animal. | |

| Not quite, we've had a baby bird fall out of the nest on our sidewalk, about dead, and nursed it back to health, fed it, got it fat and its feathers came in and helped it learn to fly, though he mainly just flew into the windows, and then finally went out on his own.
And we have a stray cat that comes around to eat every day and he's always getting cut up, we've been spraying him with peroxide but it sends him running, so now we've got Vetericyn and are seeing how it works. | |

| I have. A few years ago I was walking down Hollywood Blvd with my cousin when we encountered a hawk at curbside on the street. It appeared to be injured somehow. At first I was kind of scared to touch it because I thought it would claw me or peck at me, but it let me bring it to the sidewalk. Maybe it knew I wanted to help. At that point, people started gathering around and we trying to decide who to call. My cousin obtained the number to the local SPCA and they came and took the bird away. It was one of the most amazingly beautiful creatures I've ever seen up close and personal and I hope they took good care of it.
