| If someone gets charged with indecent exposure (and is found guilty) after mowing his backyard lawn naked, should he (or she) have to register as a sex offender for this 'indecent exposure' conviction?

| Mowing the lawn? Maybe. Pissing in the woods when he thought he was alone? NO. | |

| No. Which is why some of these ill-conceived laws made by ppl with an agenda but written too broadly are a travesty of abuse. | |

| If he's mowing the lawn in his backyard that's in full view of a school, I have no problem with him having to register as a sex offender. Because he probably is. | |

| Definitely not. Indecent exposure & sex offender are two entirely different things. The sex offender thing needs to narrowed down as it is. | |

| I can't agree CeCe , what about the guy who drove up to my 6 year old daughters school bus stop, with his member out and made sure she saw him masturbating? She thought he was being a silly childish twit. She had no clue what he was doing really but I still called the cops. He was both an indecent exposer and sex offender.
As to the nudest mowing his lawn, hopefully he had a fence and probably wasn't masturbating for others to see. He wants to mow his lawn naked I don't care. But like the naked cook watching out for grease spatters he might want to watch out for flying debris the mower might stir up.

| How high is this dudes fence? If he's in full view of his neighbors, then I question how sane he is to be butt ass naked cutting the grass. Seriously, why? That alone doesn't put him on the level of a sex offender....but who knows what else he might do. Might wanna watch him (figuratively.) | |

Hey, people feel entitled to do anything if they're own their own property. I remember when I lived down south, I drove past my neighbor (mind you, there is no 'fence') taking out the garbage butt ass naked with some white socks and house shoes on. I drove past, then to make sure I saw what I thought I saw...I backed up and pull up in the yard. I told him to put some damn draws on. He took that as a cue to that I was flirting with him and said he had no intention of putting any on and asked if I liked what I saw. I backed up and drove off.

| No. And I guess that's because I'm used to the Oregon law where public nudity is legal just as long . . . and this is the biggie . . . as long as that person is not acting in a lewd manner to draw attention to his/her privates. Once someone puts his hands on himself then he's done. | |
