    When I had shoulder length hair I often wore it in a ponytail for convenience, especially when working or riding my motorcycle. Just a natural thing to do with long hair. Looks OK to me.

    I had one periodically since 1995. Wife says it is probably not conducive to getting hired so I cut it whenever I am looking for work (which is currently)

    I LOVE ponytails on men, always have. Only when it bcomes just side-hair that's pulled into a 'tail that it looks bad.
