All of it means nothing if the man can't take charge of responsibilities.

My own definition of a man is one that doesn't have to prove he is a man all the time. You know the braggart, the wife beater, the strutter. A real man knows he is a man.

Meh, I don't know about that. A real man or woman for that matter is one who acts like and adult when the situation calls for it but can act like a kid when when it's time to play.

Eh, a man may not be totally brave, proud or masculine but still be a kick ass male. Nobody should be held to the responsibility to control any given situation.

I can name countless situations typically better controlled by a female.

What makes my man a man?

He is brave and fights for our freedom
He is reliable, and faces his responsibilities rather than running from them
He is considerate, thoughtful, and honest
He puts his life on the line everyday so we can live our lives, all the while wishing he could live his own
He is decisive, and although he will seek guidance/research when necessary, can make his own decisions
He is not threatened by my success or needs me to pump his ego in any way
He can without hesitation admit the things he wants, even when they seem to be "mushy"
He wants to take care of me, pamper me, and show me that he cares
He wants to protect me, and i know that i will always be safe with him around
He is financial secure, and does not need me to take care of him that way
He is appreciative that a good woman loves him


And... oh yeah... after a 23 hour flight back from the Middle East, he can create a fantasy scene that i told him about 3 months prior, bring me to heavenly ecstacy for 3 hours, then go to sleep for an hour... and get up to report to duty for a 12 hour day!

THAT IS A MAN!
