HomeWe got rain tonight for the first time in about a month. We only got half an inch but even so we needed it, and then some. There hasn't been any rain here for so long, which is odd because usually here the drought doesn't come in until about July...but anyway it's so dry here they're suggesting if we don't get rain soon they may have to cancel the 4th of July because everything would be too dry and would automatically burn up. We have never had a 4th of July here without fireworks and I'm hoping we ain't starting now, but I can't figure out why the rain quit so early this year.

We were in a pre-drought condition a couple of months ago but we've been getting rain more regularly.

Last year I believe. I can't remember if its rained at all yet this year.

It is raining now, an overcast drizzly day.

It rained hard couple of days ago, and misted yesterday. It may rain today too as there are some heavy clouds overhead.

Is been raining practically every day for a few weeks now. Past couple of days have not rained thought but more is coming.
