    I have the Starlight parade on right now. So has anybody here every marched in a parade? When I was in high school in Chicago I was in the all-city marching band.

    When I moved to Portland I was in the Starlight parade for OPB. We played the radio. That is we carried boom boxes (it
    was the 80's)and had them all tuned to KOAP while we marched.

    We even stopped and did drills.

    Yeah, I was in a parade. It is pretty fun to toss candy to the kids. I was on a float that was representing a motocross track when I was on the board of directors for it. My son was only five and rode his bike behind the float. It was really cute.

    On the way home from the parade, we stopped at the market and some family that was also at the parade saw us. My son was still in his moto gear and they treated him like a little rock star.

    Gay Pride parade one of the many ppl holding part of a block long Rainbow Banner. That is so '80s I suppose. (Also so gay) Blue Cool

    I seriously want to go to Pride one year. Had plans last fall & things didn't work out.
