    No. But I'm more inclined to do it on the job, but even then I will NOT socialize with people I dislike.

    Yes and no.

    Meaning, my enemies need to keep some distance. But I keep my dirt about them close and handy just in case. It pays to listen.

    I don't really have any enemies that I know of but its a good philosophy.

    I don't think the statement means that you should be friends with your enemies but that you should keep tabs on them and don't ever turn your back of them.

    That depends on how competitive the adversarial relationship is and what is at stake. If it's just a case of 'I don't like you and you don't like me,' then it is not necessary to keep that person in your orbit.
