    I guess but
    they held a gun to her father's head...having been "confused and startled" by the girl
    it's lucky the guys trigger finger didn't twitch in surprise.

    This is true but some people are questioning if it was a real gun why they didn't use it anyway?

    'Cause they weren't proper villains? Shrugs (Oh well…) I wouldn't expect most 11 year olds to consider the situation rationally (although some can). It's just lucky all they lost were some trinkets.

    Wow! Who knows how they would behave in extreme situations? That kid had a lot of guts.

    I think it takes a certain kinda person to be a murderer. Even criminals have ethics/morals/conscience. I think the economy has a lot to due with the rise in crime in some areas.... they caught a grandfather robbing a bank around here and when they asked him why, with no record, he decided to rob a bank--- he replied that his granddaughter needed braces and his son did not have any insurance. Personally i dont think that would be worth stealing over, the kid would just have crooked teeth.... but i would find it hard to imagine someone like that killing someone even tho he robbed

    Good for her, but fate was on her side. That situation could have taken a much uglier turn.

    For the most part. I've been robbed at gunpoint. Your best bet is to not make any sudden moves.
