| Have you ever taken a pill to help you sleep, or to sleep more comfortably? If you haven't, would you consider it if your sleeping habits were becoming unstable? | |

| I have & hate it. I'd have to be going through a really bad case of insomnia to consider it. | |

| I would rather not pop any pills to sleep, if I can't sleep one night or so I just deal with it.

| Closest thing I use ~ and that's very rare ~ is Melatonin. I seldom have trouble dropping off to sleep. | |

| I have taken 25 mg of Benadryl for the side effect of sleep. But, I don't like sedatives and even that would not wear off til after 11 am.
Xanax was nice when I could not turn my brain off to let me sleep. It completely gets rid of the anxiety that keeps you awake without really drugging you, so you wake up refreshed. Too bad benzo's are addictive. | |

| I have never tried them because I get really knocked out by night time cold pills. So, a sleeping pill may have me unable to get up in the morning. | |

| I have suffered severe insomnia for years. I have tried many many pills such as ambien, amytriptoline, lunesta... and others. One called trazadone is actually a non-addictive anti-anxiety pill... and it used to allow me to drift off when i was tired, and let me wake up feeling revived. however, over the past year, it has only allowed me to sleep 2-4hrs now.... and my insomnia is way out of control | |
