Oh, Lordy, yes! Probably one of the many reasons why I love New Orleans! I can't quite make out what's in that photo, but I assume it's fried catfish with a hot sauce.

I have not tried many cajun dishes. I like jambalaya if it is not too spicy and I have tried the po' boy sandwich, which I thought was great.

Enjoyed it when I first got to New Orleans in 67 to when I became a vegetarian in 1970. (The good stuff is not for vegetarians).

I had some home cooked red beans & rice at my friend Charles Toussant's house, & ate at Buster's in the Quarter back when it wasn't entirely tourist. Buster's wasn't exactly Cajun, just Southern with a N.O. style.

Ate at Barataria Tavern right on the Bayou - mostly crabs, oysters & seafood but Cajun cooked.

Yeah, I really liked Jambalaya, gumbo and other Cajun foods.

Me either, but I'm sure I'll enjoy. I don't mind spicy foods.
