One of my aunts had a child out of wedlock in the 1930s and no one, not even my mom or her kids my cousins knew. Back then you went away for a while (home for unwed mothers) and came back and no one knew where you went.

Anyhow, before she died the woman arranged a contact, so now my cousins have a half-sibling they never knew about.

Yeah.

The most shocking to me was this guy who lives far away actually met and had an affair with one of my high school friends I am not in contact with. He detailed the whole thing to me, which is so odd since I am friends with his wife.
