If someone in your family is fighting another family member over an issue that doesn't much involve you, but its turned into some big melodrama, are you prone to taking sides; or do you try and remain neutral?

Neutral, I'll give my opinion if I'm asked.

I am fysically removed from most of my family. I live on the tip of the glans and they all live in the bowels of America. So, IDK of any family drama most of the time and don't get involved with any that does occur.

I don't associate with my family but it would depend on the family member & how close I was to them. Hell in that instance it wouldn't even have to technically be someone I'm related to. Fiercely loyal.

In my family there is always drama going on. I try to stay neutral but they have a way of drawing me right in the middle sometimes.

I'm like Switzerland. A while back, my father and brother were having a tiff and they would each rant to me about the other. I'd just listen. Of course, I never told them what they said about each other. They eventually ironed it out.

Most of my family just loved dramatics. I usually kept away from it.Now most of them are dead, and those few who still love the drama I just don't deal with at all.

My mom and all my siblings wind up involved all the time. I remember when my sis denise first brought her bf (now hubby) around. My other sister had been married to a guy named joe for over 12 yrs. Mom and all siblings were in the living room arguing and david and joe were in the dining room. David asked Joe "what should we do?" Joe looked at him and said, "if you see something fly at your head, duck!" that about sums it all up lol

There was never really drama in the family. If there was, I didn't know about it. My dad had issues with one of his sisters many years ago but I was too young to care.
