| Do you consider it rude when guests don't offer to help with the dishes after a get together? | |

| Nobody ever does, and even if they do I still get stuck doing them all anyway. | |

| It'd be nice if they offered, but I wouldn't take offense if they didn't.
When I'm a guest, I offer.

| I offer to help as a guest but in my kitchen I prefer doing my own dishwashing. Actually, my kitchen is only big enuf for one person. | |

When I'm a guest, I offer. This. You really shouldn't expect someone to clean up after you invited them over. Unless they just made an egregious mess.

| Yes it is rude. More than likely I would tell them no need to but offering is a nice gesture and sometimes you do need help cleaning up after a meal. | |

When I'm a guest, I offer. They usually do offer but we tell them to sit down. Like when we're cooking and they ask if they can help I tell them, "Yes, I can't eat all this food by myself."
