Yeah, marshmallows over a campfire aren't good unless they have a crisp black crust.

I like cheese pizza where the cheese is crisp and brown

Beat me to marshmallows. The only other thing that comes to mind is the mozzarella on top of a pan of lasagna that cooks to a crispy golden brown.

Back when I did eat pork, I always wanted my bacon damn near burnt or burnt. I think when you slightly over grilled fish or chicken, that's flavorful too.

When having yellow rice and beans I like when the rice burns on the bottom a bit and you have to scrape it off, its delicious!!

Some steaks taste better burnt. Once my mother cooked some steak and it was delicious....later on she asked how I liked it and I said it was good. She was "Really? I burnt it...."
