I was also going to see GI Joe: Retaliation as my second movie of the weekend (also staring Channing Tatum) but it was not listed today.

The film is scheduled for release on March 29, 2013. The movie was previously slated for release on June 29, 2012, but the date was changed, officially to add 3D and boost interest in international markets.

Shit! Not only have to wait almost another year but have to hope they give a 2-D version of it or I will wait for the DVD to be in the cheap used bin. Added 3-D is just a rip-off.

I want to see Magic Mike.

Heading out before long. The theater made the mistake of only putting it on one screen. It sold out earlier today & they've been scampering since this afternoon moving the showings all over the place including the one on my ticket. So gotta get there even earlier to avoid confusion.

Might see Ted. Didn't have much interest in it but I heard it's crudely funny.

It was. It's selling out all over the place. The theater here added 2 showings to compensate for the ones that had already sold out & they sold out within a couple hours too. They were playing musical chairs with the movies moving them from screen to screen to make it work. If you bought advance tickets you had to find out from the guy up front which theater you were supposed to go to because odds are it wasn't the one printed on your ticket.
