    Do you have any step family or in-laws? If so, how well do you get along with them? Do you consider them family, or is the fact that their relation to you is strictly by marriage something that you never forget?

    I have a step-daughter that I inherited when she was 13. My wife and I launched her into the world and I was around for the birth and childhood of my two grandsons. To them I am Opa - been there all their life. So, after my wife's death I am still connected to the step-family.

    I have a step-mother who is the polar opposite of wicked and I get a long very well with my in-laws. With my in-laws' in-laws too.

    Nope. I had a few step-relatives....but my mother isn't with my sister's father anymore and I don't speak to them at all.
