    This morning I realized that I had several small scraps of soap that were too small to actually use. What I usually do is put them in a small container and when they're large enough to use again, I do.

    Curious...

    I use the bar until it is thin enuf to cut yourself when dry. big grin

    Actually, I picked one of those out of the trash the other day so I could mark some cloth before cutting it. Taylors have been using thin dry soap for years to mark cloth.

    Naw, we haven't used bar soap in a while but I'd just press the old sliver into the new bar and it would meld together.

    I recently started using bar soap again because I buy my soap now from these people: http://craftoland.com/. Purely organic, all natural, non-drying and smells great! I use every inch of that soap until it's all gone for the most part. I don't save little pieces of soap and put them together.

    My grandma used to do something like that. She would put bits & pieces of soap into this jar with water and let them become all liquified. Used to disgust me.

    Usually I just let them fall into the sink until they dissolve enough to fall down the drain.
