| When you were a kid who was the first celebrity, alive or dead, that you found out about and knowing about them left a lasting impression on you?
For me it was Harry Houdini, I read about him in school and I loved magic and even though I read how he did it, with lock picks and keys he would smuggle in, I was amazed by the things that he could accomplish and I've always loved anything relating to him and to his work. | |

| Monte Montana came to our school with his horse. Wow, I was in perhaps 3rd grade. I thought he was just grand. Then recently on the Pawn show on TV someone brought in some Monte Montana memorabilia and the 2 young guys on the show were total blanks about him, never hard of him. Their specialist had to tell them that Monte Montana was a real big deal long before they were born. Never hard of him. Then of course there was Hopalong Cassidy, the kids all thought Hoppy was the greatest! | |
