    This is kind of personal, so feel free to not answer -- or to not go into detail if you do -- but has the threat of a STD ever loomed over you? In other words, there was a chance that you may have been exposed to one, but in the end you either weren't, or were able to get it cleared up.

    I think anyone having any kind of sex, condom or not, does think about it. I did have someone force himself on me and was tested. Still, there's that wonder what will show up at some point until years have passed. At least, that is how I felt. I just waited for that positive test.

    I get regular checkups and no, I've never had an STD or have been scared about about being exposed to one. I've only been concerned when I thought I was pregnant. Fortunately for me, I wasn't.

    A couple years ago I impulsively barebacked my fuck buddy - and got an abrasion on my penis. Shocked

    Now he let me bareback him so obviously he let others. STUPID STUPID STUPID

    Got a negative HIV test in one month to ease my mind then confirmed negative after 3 months. I make sure to have a condom at the ready now.

    I usually take precautions and do not do at-risk sex. So far I am HIV neg and I have made love to HIV pos men.

    In 2000, I had a weird outbreak all over my body that freaked me out. I went to the doctor and the examining nurse said that it looked like syphilis. They took tests and it took days to get the results. Wasn't syphilis or any other STD, it was just an allergic reaction to a certain clothes detergent.

    Not really I dont. On occasion I might wonder if maybe I was't AS careful as I coulda been but I get tested every year so those worries always fade away.

    I consider myself very lucky. Got married around the height of the AIDS scare. Been tested about 3 times I think. All good.

    I actually had trich -- during a time when I was NOT sexually active. When I went to the doctor, i was like WTF???

    Then the doctor told me that it was possible that I got it from the gym... if they did not properly wash their towels after each use or some other non-sexual transmission. Was NOT happy! I stopped going to the gym, so now im fat but happy! Smile lol
