    I visited a lot of states that I was just passing thru so I wouldn't know. But from what I do know I would not want to live in any of the Southern states (including Florida except for the civilized pockets) or most of the Western States except California.

    The reason I am in South Florida, specifically Miami Beach is the weather, diversity and semi liberal attitudes.

    I was born and raised in a beach town in Southern California, and it was a great place then for a kid. I will never go back the place has become a nightmare I even got lost in my own home town the last time I was there. OOPS Oklahoma was worse , we lived there a year once with hubby's job what a gawd awful state that was.

    Then you will miss some of the most beautiful and magnificent parts of your country. There is nothing that can compare to the 4 corners (Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah) area!

    I hope no one here is from there, but when I was a kid my parents and I took a trip to South Dakota. I was bored to sleep and complained the whole time.

    I would say its a toss between Florida and Pennsylvania. I have only been all around Central Florida and I don't have any desire to visit the state again.
