Have you ever dropped an item (your keys, a device, etc., etc.) in a public toilet? If so, did you fish it out?

Well, last week I dropped my work keyring in the toilet here at work. Yeah, I fished it out and washed it off. The toilet had just been flushed so the water was clean (and my piss was in the previous water).

I guess it was OK 'cause I am still alive & healthy.

When I was in HS a button popped off my jeans and fell into the urinal. I didnt try to dig it out but later I wish I had cause my pants wouldnt stay up.

Our bathrooms here are quite small and before we learned to keep the lids closed hubby's plate skittered across the counter and plopped into the toilet. He fished his teeth out gave them an extra careful cleaning because after the damn things are expensive.
