Gun shots breaking out

Have you ever experienced gun shots breaking out in a crowd you were in? If so, how did you react?

NO and I hope I never do.

Nope, and hope I never do.

No, I have not. Last year when we were in Indianapolis, minutes before we left the venue, random shots were taken near where we were. Five teens were shot.

It was pretty amazing to me because we were at pro motocross at Lucas Oil Stadium and in the history of Supercross, they never did a staggered re-start after a red flag. But they did it that night for the first time ever. It took forever to get the bikes lined up for a staggered re-start. Normally, they just go to the gate for a second normal start. Had that not eaten up the extra time, many, many more people would have been walking in the area shots were fired.

No, and it is not too likely that I would ever be. I won't be taking any more trips to the US so I should be safe.

I've never been in an urban gun battle but have been walking down the street when carloads of swat cops would pile out with automatic weapons and vests and go after someone. You just duck inside anywhere and hope it's a safe wall.

As much as we fear the drive by shooters and criminals, it seems most of the ppl hit by gunfire here on Miami Beach are collateral from the cops.

yep... i was in my car in phila, and these two guys were running down the street in between the cars shooting at each other. once i realized what the noise was, i felt safe and just crouched down til i heard sirens--- but on a major street in philly u dont expect to see that.

then when i was in vineland nj.... i went to pick up a friend from her night shift job cause her car broke down. we were driving down the main street and a bullet hit my windshield... i floored the pedal and took off... called cops once we were safe at her house.

and although it was not a gun shot, i went to a concert in camden, got lost... and while stopped at a light two guys were fighting on a street corner, then wound up on my hood... the one guy had a chain and swung it, missing the guy and breaking my windshield... i again floored it! screw the light.

hint to all: never drive thru camden or vineland lol
