No, but I am a proponent of personal freedom, even for kids.

I think it is within their rights to have guidelines for extreme hairstyles.

Why? After all everybody loves to go on about they're being trained for when they're adults in the real world and you DO see plenty of adults with way way waaaaay out there hairstyles, among other things.

If the hair is in violation of the schools dress code, then it's ethical.

A school is a place of business just like a work place. Sure there are plenty of people out there with "waaaaay" out there hairstyles, but where do those people work? There are very few well-paying jobs with employees with extreme looks.

I am not, I see to much personal freedom in the kids of today, monsters begging for some rules and controls. However I couldn't care one iota about their hair, it is only hair, styles are not permanent and can change almost daily!Shale wrote:No, but I am a proponent of personal freedom, even for kids.
