The New Normal premieres tonight on NBC. Anyone planning to watch?

Yeah I do. Don't think it will last long. I'd like for it to though. The pilot was cute. Ellen Barkin is great in this.

I notice the woman on the end with the blonde hair and gray suit she has been on Glee a few times. Nah I think Ill pass.

That's NeNe Leaks from The Real Housewives of Atl. I almost don't want to watch due to her being on. I didn't even know it was on tonight. I will either record it or watch the premier on demand, just to see what all the fuss is about. I suspect it is going to be a bit cheesy.

I'm gonna have to catch it On Demand. Sons is coming up in about 15 & I got sidetracked earlier. I love the couple in this & Ellen Barkin is a bigoted snarky bitch in it. Those 3 people are really the best thing about the show. The kid seems cute too.

I watched it. They must have had the real series premier online or something because they showed what previously happened. NeNe Leaks was AWFUL, in my opinion. As much as I don't like her, I was surprised because I had read message board posts that she was actually pretty good in Glee.

I LOVED the Grey Gardens nod in this episode. I may check out another but I wasn't immediately drawn to it.

I saw it too Red and if you can believe it they showed the Pilot episode the next Day LOL I wonder why they did that? I thought I had missed an episode. I will give it a second chance as well.

The what?

It don't look like it's about nothing.

The pilot was better than the first episode. I love the idea behind the show & have an absolute crush on Andrew Rannells but I don't think this will go many more eps before the ax falls.

I knew it was going to be confusing for people to do it the way they did that. The pilot aired a week or so before the premiere but only online. They air the first ep & people who didn't watch the pilot have no idea who the hell these people are. Thought that was a bad idea.

It's been picked up for a full season & I really hate to say this because she hasn't done anything to me lol...I've never even seen her before. But this show works much better without the woman from Real Housewives. She wasn't in the last ep & it flowed beautifully.
