| I really don't like other ppl intruding on my birthday, which should be my own time to reflect as I wish.
But, it seems to be tradition and we non-traditional ppl get sucked into it. A shame tho that you on your special day have to be polite and look appreciative for those who think they are honoring you. | |

I NEVER want to celebrate my birthday. That's why I don't post my birthday on Facebook or on here. Nobody ever remembers when my birthday is, so I never get called or emailed or messages saying happy birthday. | |

 I also prefer to wait until the weekend following my birthday to do anything "big". Celebrating it in the middle of a work week almost throws me off. | |
