| If you're an Obama supporter and a celebrity you admire came out in favor of Romney, would that cause you to think less of them? | |

| Well Richard Belzer is one of my favorite actors on TV, and he supported Obama. though I think I figured out WHY he did that, he only lives in the U.S. half of the year, he spends the other half in France so he only has to endure the presidential screwups 6 months out of the year. | |

| I thot a lot more of Clint Eastwood before finding out he's a Repugnican. Been playing one scene in Gran Torino on repeat ever since. | |

| Yeah I wasn't thrilled about Eastwood, especially after some other comments he's made that are very contradictory to the conservative mindset. But he's since commented that he's a libertarian who still believes gay people should be able to marry. And I did find it amusing that he's not the least bit bothered that the republicans have their panties in a twist over his speech.
I try to not let it get to me but sometimes, as in the case of Mel Gibson they can make that impossible. I'm really officially done with him.

| It would depend on WHO they are and what their reasoning is on the matter. I think I would still respect them as an "artist/entertainer" because I have the ability to separate the politics from the performer. I like Kesley Grammar as an actor and a person even if he thinks the world of Mitt Romney. And LL Cool J who is an artist that I've always admired, typically votes republican and voted for John McCain (who I think is probably the single biggest douchebag in Congress) back in 04. But whatever, they can vote for whoever they want as long as they don't get "too political". When stars get too much into politics by starting to turn their art into a political forum, it generally turns me away from them. | |

Bruce Willis is largely apolitical. He strikes me as more of a moderate, "Libertarian" who's probably liberal on many social issues while being a fiscal conservative and supporter of the military. He hates the government and flat out said he doesn't care who wins. He has admitted to voting republican in the past but today, like LL Cool J, he identifies as "Independent". At the very least, he's not a "die hard" republican...chuckle, chuckle! http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2012/05/22/bruce-willis-calls-mitt-romney-embarrassment-report-says/

| If I did, I probably couldn't watch much TV since an overwhelming majority of the 1%ers who are celebrities are in the tank for every Democratic candidate. I've just come to accept that if they are an actor on TV, if I don't already know that they are a conservative, they are probably voting for Obama. | |
