Had a thought the other night. If you could meet your favorite writer, singer, actor, etc., past or present, and ask them 10 questions, who would it be and what would you ask?

I'll let everybody else go first because I need time to think about my answers.

Without thinking of a specific person (and I can't right now) I'd probably rip these off from James Lipton who ripped them off from Bernard Pivot.

2. What is your least favorite word?
3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
4. What turns you off?
5. What is your favorite curse word?
6. What sound or noise do you love
7. What sound or noise do you hate?
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
9. What profession would you not like to do?
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

1. Did you really expect Rita to sing background on "Turn Your Lights Down Low" knowing that you wrote that song about Cindy?

2. How do you feel about Peter's "Legalize It" album?

3. Who grows the best herb?

4. TIME magazine says that "Exodus" is the greatest album of the 20th century. What's your personal favorite?

5. How do you write the perfect lyrics and come up with the perfect melodies to Family Man's basslines?

6. How do you feel about Eric Clapton remaking your song and people acting like his version is better than yours?

7. Who is Ms. Brown in "Kinky Reggae"?

9. I know it's hard to pick one, but what's your favorite song to perform? My guess would be "The Heathen".

For me it's hard to pick just one but for lack of a better example, I'm going to go with David Bowie, and a couple of these aren't technically questions but you get the point:

7. 50 cigarettes a day, how the hell can you even still talk?
8. What's with the mime thing, and why so tight lipped about it now?
9. What in the hell was with the clown outfit in the Ashes to Ashes video?
10. Just for clarification, explain the whole faschist thing to me.
