I don't have it here at work (and I didn't have your problem at home) but try going to the control panel and then display and see if there's a setting you can change.

Don't know if this will help. It's among what came up when I searched, "windows 7 screen too small".

Right-click on an empty spot on your display's desktop |
    Choose "Screen Resolution |
Click on "Make text and other items smaller or larger" |
Click on the 125% radio button |
    Click on the "Apply" button

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-your-screen-resolution

    It offered these steps:

    To change your screen resolution

    1. Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button I HAVE WINDOWS 7 NOW AT WORK 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33_818, clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.
    2. Click the drop-down list next to Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click Apply.
    3. Click Keep to use the new resolution, or click Revert to go back to the previous resolution.
