Bowling for Columbine

When I first saw this in 2002, I had a really different impression than when I just watch this yesterday.

Years ago, I thought "wow, this is crazy... go michael moore". I don't know if it is that i'm older, but my thinking has changed.

When Moore goes on and on about the "welfare to work" mother who's son found a gun and shot someone... he was basically saying, "She's a mother and should be home watching her kids. She shouldn't have to work. It's the NRA's fault and the state of Michigan's fault that she had to work and move into a house with her brother who did not lock the gun".

He also went to Kmart to harass employees, using the kids from columbine to push his agenda. So then it seems like Kmart's fault.

So everyone is at fault except the parents of the kids who are involved in these shootings? Even the mother who was on welfare... isn't it HER fault that she had kids that she couldnt afford to raise?

Maybe i'm older and just seeing things differently.

I'm not a fan of Michael Moore.

Never saw it.

I think as we get smarter, we will all see the absurdity in anything Michael Moore does. lol

It's funny you posted this because when I saw it was on Netflix a while back, I was thinking I would like to watch it again to see what I thought of it. I don't really remember how I felt after seeing it the first time.
