Some go in a jug but I hang on to enough to use (along with nickles, dimes and quarters) to make exact change when I can.

I save them in a big jar until it's full, roll them & take them to the bank. Got a pretty big one right now so the bank will probably tell me to not come back again lol

I use them to make exact change and to confuse young cashiers when I buy an item for $2.78 and give them a $5 bill and three pennies. (my washer takes quarters, not pennies)

I love the look on their face! Especially if I hand them the coins after the cash register gave them the answer for how much change to give back

When they look at me and try to give me back the 'extra money' I tell them just to enter that amount in the register. I think it is a lack of conceptual thinking.

My pennies (I almost wrote penis) are like cockroaches; they're all over the place. On my dresser, in my coat pocket, on windowsills, etc., etc. It's the reason I hate pennies.

Save them and roll them all year along with the rest of the change. Within a year's time I roll up about $7 worth of them.

I have a bowl of them now and I will probably give them to Jay. He's really a stickler for saving and sorting his change.

I give hem to our son the coin collector. He checks the dates and rolls them. Canada made the last of the pennies a couple of months ago. So soon everything will get rounded up to the nearest nickle. No sense saving them too many were minted for them ever in my lifetime to be worth more than a penny.

They sit at the bottom of my purse til I can use them. It's never a lot though, cuz I hardly use cash anymore.

i didnt know that people still rolled coins! All of the banks here have coin machines...you just toss in everything together and it sorts them and prints out a coupon for the teller to give you cash.
My sis had so much change that she would have $700 per month to pay her son's school tuition lol

I haven't seen a single bank here with one of those. And I don't live in some backwoods, inbred banjo playin town. You gotta roll 'em.

Used to roll them up and take them to the bank. Now I just dump loose change into a jar and use it as needed.
