Don't you just love life's little surprises? Today is payday for me.....so I went to check my bank balance about 20 mins ago. I noticed that my check was $380 higher than it normally is. I didn't to any overtime so it was just my base pay. Come to find out, I got a raise. I TOTALLY (I don't know how) forgot about my automatic raise. Now THAT'S what's up!

Um, hello! That's a pretty big bonus. My guess is that you'll either have pizza for dinner tonight or hit up a club.

Okay, my bubble burst a little bit cause initially I saw what was deposited into my account before I actually saw my pay stub. The actually raise isn't that much (figures), they paid me for some back OT I've been waiting for.....but it does work out to about $240 per paycheck. So I'm still happy.

Geez, I would hope so. If you're trying to tell us your raise is $240/check, even if you get paid every two weeks that's still around a $6K raise. And if you get paid weekly? Hoochie mama! That's a lot of fucking shoes!!

I wish it were every week! LOL, nah....I get paid bi-weekly. So it's a buck twenty per week, which of course they'll tax. And they'll be no more raises in a long while. But I'm not complaining. I'll make it work.

And FYI: I haven't bought a pair of shoes since August. I'm curbing my shoe habit. I don't even want another pair.

GOOD for you!!! I dont even notice things like that cause i do so much overtime my pays are always different.
