I forgot this in my other post. When you were a kid was there any one kind of candy in particular that was your favorite, that was a rarity to get?

I was telling my mother the other day, and I don't know why this was, but when we were kids and went trick or treating, the rarest candy bar to get that we loved was Kit-Kat, for some reason nobody ever gave them out, we'd get two of them if we were lucky, but we'd have four or five peanut butter cups and Milky Ways, etc. I've never figured out why the Kit-Kats were so hard to get back then.

Got a lot of Tootsie Rolls and Mary Janes (the candy no joints) and some little boxes of raisins and those candy dots on paper. Hersheys Kisses were about the only chocolate I can recall and they were my favorites.

People are probaly too busy eating them out of the bag so they never make it to the little trick or treat bag big grin

I loved anything chocolate.. and mary jane's i would freeze then suck the peanut butter center out! LOL

I always gave a good selection of all the good brands of candy... always give: kitkat, hershey, baby ruth, butterfingers, mounds, almond joy, 100 Grand, snickers, M&Ms, and blow pops and tootsie roll pops for the younger kids. usually if i see paydays, peanut chews and other things, i will grab them too.
