    I saw it in theater when I was a kid. Of course I was blown away by it. I have the DVD and it still holds up (just like the '53 War of the Worlds that I also saw in theater.)

    Is it true that Orson Welles broadcasted some bulletin in the theaters right before the movie started and people really thought they were being invaded by spaceships and Aliens?

    Actually, it was a Halloween radio broadcast in the 1930s that had everybody going batshit crazy. He kept interrupting regular programming with news updates from the old sci-fi story. A lot of ppl thot it was real.
