Went to the store today and saw that milk is up to $4.55 a gallon from $4.33 the other day. At Dollar General it's up $3.90 from $3.75, so obviously we'll still be doing business with DG.

It ranges quite a bit here. At the Wal-Mart it's $3.84, but at the local market it's $1.79, so if I happen to be at Wal-Mart and need milk I do the price match thing and they give me $1.79 for milk.

Where are you? I don't think milk has been $1.79 for as far back as I can remember.

I don't buy milk by the gallon any more. My husbands lactose free milk is $4.99 (sometimes more) for a 2 liter carton. My regular 2% is a bit less also in the 2 liter carton.
