Lowest point in your life?

For me, I think it was when I lost my Mama she meant the world to me and it was really hard to cope with the loss.

At the time as well, I was in a relationship that caused me so much grief.

How about you, what was your lowest point, feel free to elaborate.

Too much to elaborate on, but basically for me it was a suicidal depression that started when I was 19, waxed and waned over the years, depending on what was going on in my life, and took me until I was 39 to break free of it. Getting breast cancer 3 years after that didn't help too much, along with my daughter developing epilepsy at the same time, but hey--shit happens.

Mine was when I broke my neck. My son was one and Jay had just moved out. I had shit friends and very little help. I had little money and it took forever to get back on track.

That sucks Red especially when friends don't help out, that is what they are for to help out in time of need.

I count myself lucky compared to others. The lowest points in my life have been when I've been unemployed but me and mine still had our health.

honestly, last year...

my sister died, my new car died, my house died, my relationship with chris seemed to die, my work was talking about dying... honestly.. I got so depressed I just wanted to die too.

The lowest point for me was when my daughters mother and I called off our engagement/relationship for the first time. I didn't become an alcoholic, but I drank a little more than I usually do.

The lowest point in my life was when I was worried about the moderator of my favorite social media site.

I certainly hope we did have some impact on your road to recovery, I for one am so happy you stuck it out here with us cause

I've had some episodes when I was feeling pretty down, but can't say I've had a serious low point in my life. I pray it stays that way.
