I have a tablet but I hardly ever use it.

I have a second hand lap top at home that I hardly use. I can't think of a reason to get a tablet. Unless it was useful to have for work. And it isn't.

Tablets are less fuss, more portable and usually have better connectivity.

Jay just got an iPad yesterday. And the case he purchased has a keyboard to plug in. I like the full size of a laptop for work and typing things here. I think I would like the iPad for just browsing Facebook or an online store. But kinda expensive to get one just for that!

Tablets look and operate too much like my cellphone. I would prefer a laptop because they're seem sturdier, I like the weight and the keyboard.

I got an iPad and I love it. However, I would prefer a laptop because I prefer a keyboard when I want to type.

I like tablets and pads better because they are way more portable. The only good laptops are the smaller ones and those cost more.

We have neither, we thought about a laptop for hubby but so far haven't gotten one. Then I might like a tablet but it will wait until they come down in price. The only newer technology we have is 2 e-readers, both his.

I have a laptop, my cousin has a tablet. I'd choose laptop again, because I can do more with it. And really, I don't like touch screens.

ugh...good point. It's one of the reasons I'm holding back on a smart phone. I'm a power texter & have used my son's android. Usually I end up like "take this before I end up owing you a lot of money" lol

Laptop. I don't care for tablets at all. While I wouldn't mind having an iPad, those things are much too expensive to bother with. I feel like I can do more with a laptop.
