It was set by the delivery men that brought it in when I bought it so I have never changed it and don't know what its on.

Its set on the average/middle temp. If it is set any cooler, things on the top shelf freeze.

I don't even know where the setting is on my fridge. It was set when they put it in and the milk doesn't go bad or the lettuce freeze so I guess it's where it's sposed to be.

There's my problem, if I keep the fridge cold enough to make enough ice cubes for our liking the foods at the sides of the fridge freeze. So we put things like water and coke bottles against the sides.

The dial is at the median. If I move it to colder, the freezer will frost things a little more than I prefer.
