| Say you've been seriously dating somebody for a few months (i.e. you two communicate daily, enjoy each other's company a few times a week) but you're technically not a couple and haven't had the "where is this going" talk. Do you get him/her a gift for the holidays? Why or why not? | |

| Seriously dating? Yeah, I'll get her something but exactly what depends on too many unknown factors for this discussion. Why? Why do you think? OK, not really. I'm just a nice guy. | |

| Yeah, I would. It wouldn't be anything super extravagant, but I'd get him a nice gift. Especially if he has good 'd'....... | |

| I think so. I would get something that wasn't extravagant but was thoughtful. | |

| Thanks for the responses; I think a "non-extravagant" gift is appropriate as well.
Especially since the "d" is like, The. Best. EVER. I would sooo totally fight a heffa over it.

Yeah, I would say that getting him something would be a good gesture; it says that you appreciate him, his presence in your life and that you would be open to moving the relationship forward.
