Ever since the 90s, subtle nudity on TV has been happening on prime time television in the US. Do you think that this is something that is okay to display in context (Canadian television, for instance, has been known for showing topless women and bare behinds without much protest or objection from the public) or do you find it in poor taste, or at the very least unnecessary?

Mostly off-limits.

I have to laugh when that disclaimer comes on because it usually means they're going to show some guy's butt cheecks. I don't mind that they don't flash tits every chance they can get but if they could, I guess I would just have to deal with it.

They show tits and ass too, look at American Horror Story as an example.

They showed nipples? I don't remember that. If I can't see a nipple, I don't consider it seeing a breast. On the FX show The Shield, they "implied" that a guy was going down on a woman so much that it didn't matter if you could see the Holiest of Holies or not.

I don't think it's a big deal if it's more suggestive and fleeting. In this day and age of nudity and porn all over cable and the Internet, I wouldn't think that a few seconds of the side of a bare butt is that startling.

It would depend on the context, but in general...if it's subtle and goes along with the story plot or whatever, then it's okay. I see bare ass all the time. Just look at how young boys today wear their pants.

If they can show stuff like they do on Walking Dead, then I don't see a problem with a little nudity as well. So long as there is a disclaimer.
