When was the last time you saw your maternal grandfather?

When was the last time you saw your mothers father? Excluding the funeral, if he's passed on.

I never met my mother's real father. Her step-father...my grandmother's ex-husband....still keeps in touch from time to time. He's the only "grandfather" I've ever known. The last time I saw him was a year ago, December 2011. It was a nice visit.

Never. He abandoned the family during my mother's childhood.

Never met him, he was killed by a drunk driver in the 60's.

I try to not dwell on it, but sometimes I wonder what life would have been like with him around. I bet he was cool as hell.

Never, he died 6-7 years before I was born. Just as well, the bastard.

I met my bio grandfather when i was 4yrs old at a cousin's wedding in Philly. He came to me and said, "Hi there. I'm your grandpa" and at four years old-- i defied him... "No you're not! My pop pop lives in NJ" LOL Both my grandmothers were married 3 times and I grew up with the nicest pop pop ever---and he wasnt bio either. Never saw that old man again lol

Wow, I feel fortunate to see my grandpa several times a month. I gave him a ride on Friday, and seen him last on Saturday. Both my maternal grandparents are still alive.

It was at maternal grandmother's funeral. I was supposed to see him on his trip to Chicago but thankfully he died in St. Louis before he reached us.

Not since I was about eleven or twelve. My mother isn't particularly close to her family, and she had an especially strained relationship with her folks, so I didn't see much of them before they died.
