Is it too mean to put bleach inside an unsuspecting detergent bottle inside an apartment complex shared laundry room?

I don't think it is. If people want to steal detergent, they have what is coming to them. It's been years since I have used a shared laundry room, but when I did and was ripped off, it was game on.

I carry my detergent down to the washers and store it in my apartment. Would never suppose it would be there if I left it outside.

Like Shale, I carry my cleaning supplies back to my apartment so detergent theft isn't a problem. This reminds me of something I saw on TV. A security camera in a laundromat showed a man put his clothes in a dryer and leave. A short time later, some 20-something woman comes up and replaces his clothes with hers and leaves. Well a little while later the man returns and sees his clothes aren't in the dryer anymore so he opens it up and pours in bleach, takes his clothes and leaves. The reaction of the parasite when she found a dryer full of ruined clothes was pretty funny.

I carry my laundry detergent from the cabinet above the washing machine directly to the machine and back. big grin

i saw the same scenario happen once where the guy came in, opened the dryer door... then pissed all over the other person's clothes! the heat from the dryer sorta baked the smell into them and the person was "pissed" literally that she had to wash them over LOL
