    We had the beginning on tape but it cut off in the middle of Dr. Fraunk-en-steen's opening lecture, but damn as a kid I always found that beginning creepy when they open the coffin and jerk, whatever it was, out of the skeleton's hands.

    The scene is a satirical homage to the original. Like the one where The Monster and the little girl are throwing flowers in the water. The scene in YF had a much happier ending. BTW, the blind guy was Gene Hackman.

    yes i know. i know the old universal studios monsters very well. my nephews wanted to watch scary movies so i bought them all the old stuff which didnt show on screen violence or have profanity Wink
