Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original) Empty Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)

Who's seen it? What did you think of it? I saw that movie for the first time last year, and it freaked the HELL out of me. And it wasn't even the movie itself, the violence doesn't bother me, the people being hit in the head with a sledge hammer and cut up with the chainsaw, and eating the flesh, that doesn't bother me, but DAMN, those noises at the beginning and the pictures, and the narrator making it sound like a real thing, THOSE really CREEPED me out, that and Grandpa. Was anybody else about knocked out of their seat when they saw Grandpa was actually alive? Until he was sucking on the girl's fingers, I thought he was a corpse they just hauled around.

Saw the Original the the re-make and the follow-ups. The Original was the best, the re-make was pretty good as well. Some of the follow-ups were just plain ridiculous, Matthew Mcgohahey was actually in one of them, it was pretty bad. In the original when Sally was at the dinner table with Grandpa and they focused in on her eye while she was screaming was the best!

That movie scared the shit out of me the first time I saw it! It's still one of the scariest films I have ever seen, it gets me every single time. I think the way they shot it makes it even scarier. It looks like a documentary and the events are actually happening. I've seen the remake as well, and while I think it's decent, the original is still by far the best.

Same here. The remake was decent enough I guess. As I've stated before, I'm not a fan of horror movies.
