Srsly, I'd do him!
For those who don't know, he is an advice columnist whose column "Savage Love" usually involves sexuality issues. He is gay and in a 'monogomish' relationship for years. Our take on relationships are most often parallel.
Here is one typical piece of advice from this weeks column:
Dear Dan: My brother and his new wife had a threeway with a male hotel receptionist while on their honeymoon. I don't have a problem with threeways in theory, but I think it's wrong to have one on your honeymoon. I was their best man. What am I supposed to do now? Disgusted Big Bro
You're supposed to shut the fuck up and mind your own business - now and always.
Oh, he did mention that he was hungover when writing this column, but I think that is good advice from any perspective.

Dan Savage is that gay bigot bully? He's kind of like the crazed Christian fundies, only for a different cause. lol It's funny to watch the left's bullies spout intolerance in the name of tolerance and then proceed to justify their hypocrisy with straw "but this is different" arguments. haha

Dan Savage is not only a columnist who is well respected by many ppl in the industry, he is also an activist for gay rights and was instrumental in the "It Gets Better" Project, which encourages gay youth who are bullied to the point of desperation and often suicide. http://www.itgetsbetter.org/pages/about-it-gets-better-project/
Oh, he also made 'santorum' synonymous with 'the frothy combination of lube & fecal matter from anal sex.' Google santorum and it is usually the first hit before the rabid, anti-gay Rick Santorum from whom it is named.

I have his book, "The Kid." I haven't read it yet, but am looking forward to it. I don't agree with him in all situations, but overall, do like him.

Even tho I was never bullied in high school and don't recall anyone being bullied or even appearing gay (naive time, most of us were not connecting with anyone) I did make a video to post on the It Gets Better Project.
Well, as you can see this is already dated. DADT is bad history now and it looks like the next victory will be accepting same-gender marriage in the whole nation. (Likely from the Supreme Court, like Loving vs. Virginia).

I don't hate him at all. On the contrary, I think he is very good for the conservative cause because of his blatant hypocrisy.

After he used his blog to attack the black community for Prop 8 I haven't been able to stomach him. He seriously went "IN" on black folks for it, then later when appearing on a CNN talkshow hosted by DL Hughley where they spoke on it, all of the sudden his tone became diplomatic and much less confrontational. He didn't want to go knuckle to knuckle with DL. That made him a coward to me. For the most part I find Dan Savage to be a catty brat.
