I try to do it every other year. I got a copy when we bought the car a couple of years ago. I should get an updated one.

there's a gov website that allows you a free one every year.

i did have one of those freecreditreport.com type of accounts.. would check it every month... disputed things as i paid them off... increased my score by 150 pts. after i got my car and had the house problems, i just didnt care anymore LOL

I check it every year, and no...I'm not surprised by it. I want to get it to a certain score before I buy a house.
